Puerto Vallarta also has very good places for scuba diving, if you are a certified diver or if you just want to take a quick dive lesson which hallow enjoy such a world so different and exciting as is the Pacific Ocean.
There are different places to explore and you can combine it with a regular snorkel tour where you can be accompanied by your family or friends even if they do not go to practice this sport.

Places to dive:

LAS MARIETAS, (friends & Family dive) North side of the bay, a variety of tropical fish, mantas, turtles and dolphins. Great variety caves, reefs and drop-offs. 1tank for beginners. As Certified 2 tanks may be on separate boats. Daily departures from 9:00 to 4.00. All inclusive tour. Complementary whale watching From November to March month.

LAS CALETAS 1 tank for beginners, 2 tanks for certified divers. Private beach club, a great place to combine Beach lazing in the sun and diving, nice Shallows, beautiful reefs. Tropical fishes turtles and sometimes mantas. Daily departures from 9:00 to 4.00. All inclusive tour. Complementary whale watching From November to March month.

ANEGADOS (2 Tank dive.) only certified divers. Departures only on Wednesday (full day trip). Large variety of marine life. Mantas, Turtles, Sharks and dolphins. Great site, caves, arches, steps walls. Open water certification card and previous 25 logged dives required. Lunch and beverages included.

EL MORRO (2 Tank dive.)World class site drop-off, Caves and arches. Variety of tropical fish. Mantas, sharks, turtles, dolphins, large schooling fish. Departures on Tuesday (full day trip) Open water certification card and previous 25 logged dives required. Lunch and beverages included.

LOS ARCOS (Twilight dive) 2 tank dive. Marine National Park, lobster, octopus, moray ells. Turtles, variety of tropical fish. Departures Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. 3 hours tour approximately open water certification required.
